Kelly Maloney is a second-year Master’s student in Communication at the University of Cincinnati. Kelly graduated Manga Cum Laude from the University of Dayton in 2016 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Sociology and Communication with a focus in Communication Management. Her current research interests include organizational communication and leadership.
During her time at UC, Kelly has taught Intro to Public Speaking courses, serves as a Teaching Assistant to Introduction to Public Relations, and is the current President of the Communication Graduate Student Association. Kelly has also worked as a Games Department Supervisor at Cedar Fair’s Kings Island where she has been able to hone her skills in operations management, organizational leadership, training and development, and internal communication. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career that will allow her to build upon her professional and academic experiences.
As the Operations Manager and Graduate Assistant, Kelly oversees internal communication and operations functions within UCommunicate. She is excited to continue to learn and develop her skills in her role while also helping to advance the organizational structure of UCommunicate.
