Tori Bere is in her last semester at the University of Cincinnati acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a Public Relations certificate.
During her undergraduate career, she has found herself enjoying being involved around campus. For the last two semesters, she’s been a teaching assistant for a Public Relations Writing course. In this role, she assisted students by reviewing and providing critiques to assignments including but not limited to; newsletters, press releases, fliers, and blog posts. She has also interned at UC’s Blue Ash campus, where she helped kick-start a Diversity Scholars Program (DSP). Her main duties were recruiting new students and faculty into the program, mentoring incoming Freshman, creating and implementing monthly workshops, and planning events. While being a part of the UC community, she has rightfully earned her spot in Lambda Pi Eta (National Communication Society) and Sigma Alpha Pi (National Society of Leadership and Success).
This is Tori’s first semester being a part of UCommunicate, and she’s eager to work under Hoss Brown to learn more about the Human Resource field while also strengthening her communication skills.
